I dreamt
I was the lyrics of a song,
slipping into your ears,
blending with the background noise
without you knowing,
stirring memories
from untraceable places,
moments outside of time,
yet with a vivid sense
that everything looked beautiful,
a feeling you can’t quite place,
unable to pinpoint where
this heartache comes from.
